For every 10 books/or five hours, after you receive your book bag, you can choose a prize from our prize box.

Keep track of the number of books you read or have had read to you over the summer for a chance to win extra prize. (THE NUMBER OF BOOKS READ MUST BE APPROVED BY PARENT!)

HAVE A GREAT ‘READING’ SUMMER!!!!
Rubber Ducky who has the most books over 20 read to them will win a book of Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes.
Non-Readers read 50 books. Most over 50 wins two 3D puzzles.
Readers read 50 hours or 50 books. Most over 50 hours and most over 50 books each win a battery powered robot.
The teen who reads the most hours over 50 wins a Kindle Fire 8.
Adults can read 10, 30, or 60 hours. Once choice is made at sign up, you cannot change. Finishers may choose a t-shirt or Indian bucks.
Readers Only Game finishers win merchant prizes.
Adult game finishers win a coloring journal/colored pencils.
Counting game winner Adult and child win a Build a Better World water bottle.
Grand prize drawing winner wins a Kindle Fire 8.
Weekly prize drawings for readers and non-readers who participate in that week’s game.
Attend the story walk and complete the nature hunt to win a special prize.
After each 5 hours/10 books read, choose a prize from the prize box.

Find the construction worker in the Library weekly. Clues are in the Library.
Find the construction man’s accessories around town weekly. Clues are in the Gyp Hill Premiere each week.
Complete the activity sheet in your summer reading folder.
Adults complete the activity portion on their summer reading log.
Win the 3D printing design contest. Only those 19 and under may participate.
Meet your reading goal.
Teens and adults complete 3 book reviews.
Complete three book reviews.

Preschool StoryTime every Tuesday @ 10:00 am.
School age StoryTime every Thursday @ 10:00 am.
May 22 – Summer Reading sign up begins. Big machine petting zoo 10-12.
May 22 – Build a Bot 10:00 am. Come help put our solar robot together.
Following programming will be held on Wednesdays @ 10:00 am
May 31 – Dream it, Build It with Legos, blocks, Tinker Toys, and Lincoln
June 7 – Build a BitBox App or Two. Come use our iPads to build your own
June 8 – Exploration Place. Join us @ the Christian Church in the Christian
Life Center for hands on fun activities and learning.
June 14 – Cardboard Creations – come build with cardboard
June 20 & 22 – Chris Shrack from Fish and Game will be here with his critters.
June 21st – Hour or More of Code. Come code it up. Make flappy fish flap
or a pie go splat.
June 28 – Robots, Robots, Robots. Come code and see what you can make
our robots do.
June 29 – Dan, Dan the Magic Man. Join us @ the Christian Church in the
Christian Life Center for Magic and fun.
July 5 – Makey-Makey It. Come see what you can invent while using a
July 12 – Built It, again with Legos, blocks, Tinker Toys & Lincoln Logs.
July 19 – More Robots, Robots, Robots. Our last program for Summer
Reading. Come code with the robots again.
During some of the above programs we will work with the 3D printer/pens.
We are conducting a contest to see who can design the best 3D project. This contest will run from May 22 until July 14. The winner of this contest will get an entry in the grand prize drawing and, also receive a copy of the 3D item they designed. Get creative and have fun! This contest is for those 19 and under.
